• Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow

  A collection of documents produced by Avro Canada, subcontractors and the NRC National Aeronautical Establishment (NAE) and held within the NRC Archives Avro Arrow Fonds and the NRC rare book collection. Due to copyright restrictions, a small portion of the NRC's Avro collection is only available for onsite consultation.

  The contents of this collection are published for research and education purposes. • Canadian Reference Materials and Methods

  The NRC Certified Reference Materials program provides standards for environmental, biotoxin, food, nutritional supplement, and stable isotope analysis. The collection contains current and archival certificates. Coverage is from 1976 to the present. In addition, the Canadian Reference Materials and Methods collection provides reference methods of analysis by NRC.

• Dr. Gerhard Herzberg

  Dr. Gerhard Herzberg has been called the founding father of molecular spectroscopy and the foremost Canadian scientist. This collection consist of biographical information, articles, interviews, speeches, press clippings, press releases, correspondence, memoranda and photographs related to his time at the NRC and his Nobel prize talks.
