Abstract | As part of the Government’s commitment to developing a Digital Economy Strategy, Budget 2011 announced measures to accelerate the adoption of digital technologies, build digital skills and showcase Canada’s digital technologies. This included the development of the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP). The objective of DTAPP is to accelerate the adoption of digital technologies in small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in Canada so they can boost their productivity and create economic growth and opportunity. The National Research Council (NRC) Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) was selected to deliver DTAPP from November 14, 2011 to March 31, 2014. |
