| Abstract | NCAP-1 is a reference material (RM) designed for the development of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein detection methods, as well as an antigen source for use in SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen detection tests. The reference values for NCAP-1 are based on combined results from two orthogonal methods from data generated at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). A unit of NCAP-1 contains 0.4 mL of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein in 50 mM Tris buffer (pH 8) with 150 mM sodium chloride. |
