| Abstract | The National Research Council Canada (NRC) Aerodynamics Laboratory conducted a wind-tunnel experiment in 2025 to evaluate the aerodynamic behavior of full-scale stay cable models with ice accretion under both static and dynamic conditions. The project was conducted as part of the NRC's Climate Resilient Built Environment initiative. This posting includes data files that describe the three-dimensional model geometry of the ice shapes. A companion document describes the model geometry, the model properties, and the test conditions evaluated at NRC to enable the use of the cable-geometry files in numerical or experimental studies. Additional data files include the coordinates of the surface pressure taps and the cross-sectional geometry at each ring of pressure taps. |
