Abstract
BACKGROUND: The Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) requires departments and agencies to carry out periodic internal audits to assess their compliance with the Government Security Policy (GSP) and the effectiveness of its implementation. The policy requires departments to actively monitor and carry out internal audits of their security program.
