Abstract | SKIM-1 is a skim milk powder Certified Reference Material (CRM) characterized for trace metals and minerals. This material was prepared at the National Research Council Canada (NRC) from food grade skim milk powder. A unit of SKIM-1 consists of 12 trilaminate stick packs, each containing approximately 2.5 g of skim milk powder. This material is intended for the calibration, method validation, and to aid analytical method development of trace metals and minerals in milk powder or similar matrices. |
